Um, what to do with so many rainy days in a row? Why not hack into PowerSDR and make your own unique Flex? What could be more smug? I took a picture of my Viking III and then using Photoshop, imported the color into the Flex graphics and added a few rack ears to the left and right side. My next project is to steal a nice clean picture of K1JJ's 4-1000 tubes and insert them into the data display in the middle of the radio to get the soft glow of a big tube on the screen. Then I want to make a nice black crinkle Flex to capture that 30's era look. What the heck, it doesn't cost anything right?

By the way, that is WA2PJP (Joe) strapping away in the display.

Won't you need a 6ft tall monitor to fit everything else into the rack?

Yah, that's already a problem Rich as this rack is now full. Might have to spring for a nice big LCD TV connected to the HDMI video card output and stand it up on end against the wall!

Hey Mike, that's a very smug looking installation! Nicely done!

I wouldn't be so smug if I were you. Your rack mount screw heads aren't aligned properly. Perhaps we can get Joe, PJP, to help you with that.  Wink

Think I'll stick with the 833a's and the 4-400's, no illusions with them.

You're only allowed to be smug.. if the meters WORK!
Once you get that done... you'll have a smugness permit   Cheesy

Darn it Mark! I really screwed that up! I have the same problem with my Black Wrinkle Flex too!

Bruce, I still want that functional analog meter like you have with your "special" version of PSDR. That's very slick.
